Track widgets are an interesting twist to the wired movie. These are movies that can help creat other movies. With the TrackMatrix behavior, many things are possible. This example widget will align the bottom of all tracks. It is easy to modify this to align the centers of tracks, or all sorts of track positioning tasks. This is especially useful since AppleScript can't move tracks, and it is all but easy with the Player.
You can test this Align Widget on the provided "Test Movie with 4 tracks.mov". It is a simple movie with multiple text tracks.
Moving tracks has other uses as well. The BuildFace example movie shows how you can use the position of tracks to make changes in your movie saveable.
